The Indiana Department of Natural Resources makes available an informative packet for those who inquire about
falconry. This information includes details on how to become a licensed falconer, state and federal regulations,
testing, 2-year apprentice program, facilities development, equipment acquisition, annual reporting, etc.
As part of that packet, an IFA info sheet is included. See below.
Additionally, significant changes to the Indiana falconry regulations were adopted and enforce as of August 5th, 2011.
A summary of these changes are provided in the downloadable PDF above. Please keep in mind, these are not the actual
regulations, but a convenient reference document summarizing changes incorporated into the new Indiana falconry regulations,
as provided by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
